Christmas

Christmas to me means a fun day to me.Like getting gifts and giving people gifts.Christmas is a fun day I think Christmas is the best holiday to me.When I was little I didn't know what Christmas is I only new that I had got allot of presents.But I got older and I knew that Christmas is Jesus birthday.

On Christmas my family celebrates Christmas on Christmas eve.I don't know why but on Christmas we go to my grandmas and wait to 12:00 and open our presents.Sometimes we do that or when we get tired we just open them any time.Last Christmas I just opened my presents and didn't wait for anybody.Sometimes our whole family goes to San Antonio to my moms sisters house and my cousin house.Or sometimes we go to Zilker Park to see the big Christmas tree and play there.This Christmas we are planning to go to my grandmas house for christmas eve and go to my cousin house on Christmas.

TOROS GAME

Today we went to a basketball game to see the AUSTIN TOROS vs VIPERS.We left the school at 10:30 and got there at 11:00 soon as we got there we sat down and the game started.The other team had got the ball.I knew that it would be a good game because they were shooting back and forth at each other.The AUSTIN TOROS were wearing white and black and the VIPERS were red and white.When I was watching the game I wanted to see somebody slam dunk the ball and they did on the other team.The TOROS were playing good but after the half they weren't good because I think they were tired of playing.In the half time they were throwing things into the crowd like shirts,balls,and foam fingers.I thought that the TOROS will win but they didn't the score was 88-97 the VIPERS won.I think the TOROS will beat them next time I had fun there.

Yesterday two girls came to our school from New York to look at our games.They look at my Wiki to see what we are doing,they also look at our Blogger.They talked to us about our game like what we should do for our game.They had good ideas for our game I liked there ideas.For my game I'm going to save the rain forest.So I wanted Mrs.Miller to pick me so they can give me ideas for my game.Mrs.Miller picked other people to talk to them about there game.The think that I liked was the phone from here to New York we all were talking to people that were there.The people from New York were also giving us ideas for our game too.When we came they were here and they were telling us about what we don't like about Globaloria and what do we like about it.What I like about Globaloria is we have allot of things to get on like our Gmail,Wiki,and our Blogger..All of those websites that we have they are fun to be on them.The mostly thing that I like about Globaloria is being on my Wiki learning how to start on my game.The thing that I like is that we get to make a game that has to be social issue.Now the thing that I don't like about Globaloria is getting on my blogger and typing a full page about whatever Mrs.Miller tells us to type about.Ever time we type allot my hands get tired and that's what I don't like about Globaloria.

TOPIC AND NAME YOUR GAME: Saving The name that I picked out for my game is Saving The Amazon Rain Forest.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR GAME CONCEPT? You will have to read a passage about the Amozon Rain Forest then answer all of the questions about the Amozon Rain Forest.
WHAT IS YOUR GAME GOING TO TEACH OTHER THAT PLAY IT? It will teach them to save the Rain Forest. Also why to save the Amozon rain forest.
WHAT IS THE GOAL FOR YOUR GAME? My goal is to stop people from killing the rain forest so we can have a better inviroment for the earth.Because without the forest we wont have oxygen.

DESCRIBE YOUR GAME DESIGN,WHAT IS IT GOING TO LOOK LIKE.I will make it look like a forest in the back ground.I will also put all the animals that are endangered.Another thing is I will put questions on it.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO MAKE YOUR GAME STANDOUT FROM OTHERS?I will make it look realistic.Also have allot of animals in it that will be making noise.I will put animal noise to make it feel like your in a rain forest.

WHAT I LEARNED

This week I learned more information about the mini game project.We are supposed to be ready by this week to know how to make games.I also learned how to make a Adobe Flash.The thing that I am struggling with is catching up with every thing.I think it is because of the class time its not even long so we cant get done.An other thing that I'm struggling is our Learning log I forget to do them I get mix up with them.I want to learn how to make the game it really sounds fun.I don't really get our WIKI because there is allot of stuff on it.I think Action Scripting will be hard because just on the video we watch it looked hard.The person that was doing it I don't know how he or she does it because he or she was doing allot of stuff.I couldn't even catch up to what he was doing the video.I know he had to practice to do all of that I would have probably forgot.I want to learn all of the vocabulary so I can pass the vocabulary test.There are allot of words and they are hard to do all of them because they are allot of them.This whole six weeks I learned allot of stuff even last six week.Last six week I learned how to chat to our friends on our WIKI.At first I didn't know how but MS.Miller told me how.

Enrique Camarena

Today in school we had RED RIBBON week were you get to do stuff in school like were hats,dress crazy,wear boots,and all of that.In science we learned about him like his name his age and also how he died.I'm going to tell you about what we learned about him.He died when he was gonna see his wife and his three sons but as soon he walked out of the building four guys got him and threw him in a car and they found him dead like torched him and left him there.Later the cops found him dead.Since then his family thought about wearing red so now they wear red on the whole last week of October.Also his name is Enrique he worked for a sortove like a cop but under cover to looked for people who do drugs.Then somebody told and that's why they killed him.They found the people who killed him and had send them to jail for life I think.Enrique
nick name was KIKI for his short name.KIKI tried to stop people and kids to stop smoking and his mom will tell him they wont listen to him and he said 'Not only one person can stop it,any body can".Allot of people respect him now because what he did.Also the kids in the kids wear red too because what he did.I know if he was still alive he probably would of stopped the drugs.http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enrique_Camarena.

ABOUT TECHNOLOGY

For technology I think I'm doing well at typing stores because I know that I type allot and have all of my words checked without misspelling words.Also I listen to what you say and how to get on the websites.Now the thing I'm getting frustrated on is trying to finish typing before lunch and all of the typing we have to do.But I know that we have to for a grade so that's why we have to do it.Also we have to type in math,and in ELA and my hands are already tired because of all the typing that we have to do.I really like Ms.Miller because she is fun and she is also nice to our group.Not just to our group but to every body that she knows.The thing that I don't like about Ms.Miller is when she makes us write a whole page about what we learned or about what we did that day.Theres another thing about what I liked about Ms.Miller is that she let us make a Gmail,a Blogger,and a Wiki page they are all cool because you get to do allot of things on them.That's all of the things that I like about Ms.Miller and why.Also that's all of the things that I'm frustrated with and what I like about technology.

I wish we can play the games because they are cool and they look fun to play on the computers.The different geners games is shooting,flying,and fighting I wish they had football games because if they did Ill be playing them for a long time because I like playing football games.
The only sport games that they have is ping-pong,tennis,and also that's all the sports game they have.And they have board games like
chess,checker,and also some other kind of game but it looked fun.
Shooting games are cool because they get to shoot and kill other people.I really think the army games are better because you get to be on which country or state side you want to be on.And you have to shoot the other people that is not on your team because they will try to kill you.It was made by a guy name Martin O'Donnel it came out on the X Box 360.
Adventure game that I played Mario was cool because you get to do stages and you have to pass them.I think its a adventure because you go through different worlds to pass the game I really liked it was fun.It was made in 1995 by this guy name Charles Martinet.THe game came out on the Nitendo.

Technology Final Exam

This six weeks I have learned lots of hard vocabulary words like Post,Operating system, Access time,and Context menu.If you want to know all of the vocabulary you will have to look on the blog.I have also learned how to put pictures on my blog.Not just pictures but also how to put on a hyperlink I learned it just in a week it was easy.And I know how to add a picture on my blog that is also easy too.It took me about two days to know how to do it.An other thing I learned is how to make a GMail the GMail is cool ton because you get to type your friends on the computer.I haven't really been to my GMail for a while because I have been on my blogger doing the things Mrs.Miller been telling me what to do.I also learned how to make a wiki page on the

computer that is cool to because you get to pick a ground for you witch is a picture for it.

GAMES

Today we went on the computers and had to write a page of a game that you liked.And the game is called BONES its about that you have to answer the question about the bones.Also you have to put the bones in the right place.And you have to answer the questions at the end .At first I thought it would be hard but as soon as I started it was easy just the questions they were kind of hard.The questions were asking about the bones were they go and whats the name of the bones.Usually I thought the game wont be cool.But I clicked on it and I started playing putting the bones in order and trying to remember them too.Well first I went to the social issue section and that game showed up.Also the game on the computer had looked good it wasn't blurry or big.And the game that I played was just right.Maybe they just needed to make the background more colorful than grey.Really the whole thing was all grey and white so they just need more color.The learner was me how to name the bones,where they go and how to say them the game was cool but I only played for a little while because we already had to leave to go to lunch.But all of the games that I played on the social issue that one was the best one out of all of them.I would like to learn how to name all of the bones in our body so I can get a 100 on the quiz they give you the first try I had got a 90 because I missed 5 so I got a 90 and I want to get a 100.And that is it I really like the game a lot I might play it later after lunch.

Today and yesterday in Globaloria we all played games and Mrs.Miller told us to write two whole page about what we liked about it and why.Now the game I liked the best is the game that the students made it is called BULLS EYE.The game is about that the player has a bow narrow and you have to make it in the circle.At first I thought the game i played wont be good but as soon as I played it was awesome.So every time we came to technology I always would play it.When I first started I wasn't really good at it because you have to aim at the circle also the circle is very small.But then the next day we came I started getting good at it and started challenging Brian my friend he was pretty good at it and we kept on beating each other back and fourth.So we kept on playing and the girls saw us playing and was playing to and it looked like they had liked it so a lot of the students was playing it.The thing I don't like is that they should put more arrows in the game so we can play longer.I think they only have 10 arrows they should at least 15 or 20 because its only 10 and when its done you have to start over.But anyways I still like the game a lot.Also the game works well and it also plays well a lot and you can see it good.I really like the game I want to play it again.

Reflections

It is important to follow directions because if you don't you ll get in trouble.So if you do then maybe your teacher will give you a prise.And rules are put in place so that the kids will know what to do when they go some where.There are rules in school because they don't want the kid to get hurt or get in trouble.The students are suppose to be good in class or around the school.They have to follow directions that the teachers tell them.So far in the college prep school IO think I've been acting good in school,And been getting good grades too.In this school I think I have to be good because they picked the only good students to come here to the college prep school.Sometime its fun because we get to play games on the computers in technology.Another thing is we sometimes watch shows,videos on the lap tops.You have to be good in order to do those things and if you don't then they will make you right a reflections about what you did.That's why I have been good in school because I don't want to right a reflection.Some kids in the school already had wrote almost 1 to 3 reflections because they weren't paying attention in the class.I haven't Ive been acting good in the class.Only once I got in trouble because I wasn't paying attention I was talking to my friend and she told me to be quiet but I didn't hear because I was talking and it was in Spanish class.Now I know Not to talk while the teacher is talking.Here in the school we have about 12 classes but it goes by really fast we get out of school at 4:30 and on Fridays we get out at 4:00.And I really like this school alot.

The Wild Flower Center

On Saturday mostly the whole school went our first field trip to the Wild Flower Center.Its not really far far from the school maybe it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get there.Soon as we got there out side of it looked cool.We entered in a,b,c,d groups we all went splidded up and we went on top of a tower in there it wasn't really high you could see all around.After that we went to the trails it was cool on the trail we saw mushrooms they were big.Then we went to the garden we all saw flowers we never seen then we saw a huge and fat spider it looked scary.Some of the students said they saw a snake too but I didn't see it.After that we took pictures of each of our groups.We walked back to the front and we all ate our snacks after,we into another trail with more flowers.Another thing we saw bugs like butterfly's,junebugs,ants,bees,and other insects I just forgot.And we all meet in the front again and they said it was time to leave so B group started walking out.And that's our field trip to the Lady Bird Wild Flower Center it was AWESOME!!!

What I Learned Today

What I learned today is how to correct sentences on the blog.Also I learned how to put pictures on our blog.Another thing is I know all of our vocabulary words of the week.We have to do quiz's every week and learn the definitions of them.And I learned how to text other people and get on other peoples blogs.And that's what I had learned this weekend in technology.
