Globy Awards

1. What did you think about the article?
    - I liked the article because it gave a lot of information about the Globie awards and who won and which team did a great job.
2. How did it make you feel to read about your school and Globaloria, a program that you participate in?
    - The article made our school special because of the great program that we have and all the things that we get from this program and the things we get to do with the program like create games.
3. If your game was featured in the article, how did it make you feel? Proud, happy?
    - My game was not in the article and it makes me feel like I did not do a good job making my game and that I could have done it better, but I still got nominated for the best art and style but I still did not win.
4. If your game was not featured in the article, what would you like for the author to have said about your game?
    - Even though my game was not in the article I would have liked if the author talked about every game because we put a lot of work into the games and about mine because you will actually learn about the topic.
5. Which game do you think the author should have mentioned in his article and why?
    - I think that the author should have mentioned about the nominies and the winners and I think the author should have mentioned Tiger Saviors which was also another good game that my friend created by himself.

Final Game

http://www.myglife.org/usa/eacpa/images/teacpawiki/3/3e/TigerChangersFinalGame3.swf Our team name is the Tiger Changers and our game name is called Climate Changers. Basically our topic of our game is on global warming that is happening in the Arctic. The learning goal that you are learning from our game is facts about the penguins and how they have been affected by global warming. The player will learn by playing the level learning facts while playing and after the level facts will come up. I would like to add more facts so the player will learn more information and I would want to improve the levels and make them more difficult. The most challenging when creating the game was putting in the code correctly so the characters and the whole game will work. I am most proud that I actually got time to finish my whole game on time with everything working.

Respect

What Does Respect Mean?
- To me respect means how you treat someone, but you treat that person in a good way, like your honest, trustworthy, And you treat that person how you want to be treated.
What Does Respect Look Like?
- Respect to me looks like your showing honesty, being trustworthy, and being nice, following rules to adults like your parents, teachers and other people, and treating that same person how you would want to be treated. Like in the computer lab you can show respect by doing your work and following rules and also keeping everything clean. In lunch at school you can show respect by keeping your area clean and eating your food right, and also in the buildings at school or at some place else you can show respect by keeping quiet because the classes that are going on and also by keeping your hands to yourself at the work that are displayed on the walls.

Nike

The people and kids are suffering from living because the amount of money they get in a day doesnt even last them for a whole meal. Most kids are now getting cancer because of the trash everywhere and because the burning of the trash and the rubber thats being burnt and can be dangerous. At the Nike factory in Idonesia they went to the security guards didnt let them go to part of the factory and the ladies that worked there could not talk about what they are doing. Also most kids dont even go to school and they dont even get educated so they dont really learn and the cycle is going to keep going in living in poverty.

Gamefication/Game Design/Game Mechanics- What.?

What Do You Learn In Globaloria?
- In Globaloria we learn how to design educational games in flash and also learn about whats happening around the world right now with technology.

Think About All The Skills You Have Learned Over The Past Two And A Half Years. Name At Least Five Of These Skills.
- Wiki Tips, Playing To Learn, Choosing A Topic, Meet Flash, Make A Mini Game

How Can These Skills Prepare You For A Successful Academic Future And How Could You Use These Skills To Find A Great Job?
-You can use these skills for when you are creating a game or when you are doing a project you can use flash and use the wiki tips for help, and you can also use these so when you grow up and be a globaloria teacher, you can help the other kids.

**Game Design And Game Mechanics Are Both Similar, They Both Tell The Story. The Gamification Is What Makes The Game More Interesting And Not Boring Only Fun.
