About Me

-My name is Jonathan Rodriguez and I am 13 years old, I was born in Austin,Texas. My favorite colors are purple, blue, and yellow. My favorite hobbies are playing sports and rapping, my favorite sports are football, baseball, soccer, and basketball. My favorite football team in the NFL are the New York Jets and in NCAA are the Texas Longhorns, my favorite baseball team are the Texas Rangers and my favorite soccer team are the Chivas, and also my favorite NBA basketball team is the Denver Nuggets. I also like rapping a lot and my favorite rapper that I like listening to is Wiz Khalifa. When I grow up I wanna go to the University of Texas for college and play football and try to get drafted in the NFL and do engineering and be a rapper.

About My Topic

-My topic is about climate change

-This issue interests me because its a really big problem that's been going on and I want everybody to know that this issue will effect us in the future.

-I want people to learn that this climate change is really bad for everybody and because if they don't try and help than it can turn out really bad for us and for many animals.

-This issue needs to be addressed because if we don't try to help out and try to fix all the damage it can do to every living thing on earth, than it would be a very huge problem in the future.

- I am designing my game for students that are in middle school 6th-8th grade

• WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!)

- It will teach the player about the affects on climate change and give them facts about the differences in the climate

• WHERE does your game happen?

- It will kind of be in a cartoon game on how the animation looks and the setting will be in the climate with the weather and it will show them how it looks when its different.

• HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?
• - Because it would actually show about weather climate and it would be about the topic
• • What happens in the world that helps the player learn?
  • - It would show them pictures and give them facts about the weather climate

  • -After every 5 facts there would be questions and you would have to answer them from the facts that were given in the game.

• WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?
• - Because you actually get to see how climate change would work with better information and its more understanding and it would be better learning in a game than on a quiz.

Penguins

-Some of the challenges that the Penguins have to overcome is staying a live through the cold weather and not die of starvation.

-The way the weather is and how far away it is to get food and all the predators there around there.

-To survive brutal winters Penguins will need a lot of fur, on there body to keep them warm and they need wings to help them swim away from predators.

-There is no sunlight because thats when its winter and everything is getting cold, it effects the climate by getting cold.

-Well the ice has to be frozen solid because if not it can have cracks and break apart and it can be to cold for the eggs and die also the babies can drown since they dont know how to swim at a young age.

-It can either be to cold or to hot for the penguins to survive.
